The sight of the red autumn leaves blending in with all the other foliage on the mountains has to be&nbsp;one of the&nbsp;most spectacular&nbsp;highlights of autumn in Japan.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you arrive at the station you can expect fairly large crowds crossing the&nbsp;Togetsu-kyo&nbsp;Bridge, where you can view the&nbsp;Arashiyama&nbsp;Mountain. The autumn leaves normally peak from mid-November to early&nbsp;December.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Zen temple is located in the South-East of the city. The temple is famous for&nbsp;Honbo&nbsp;Garden, a beautiful&nbsp;Zen garden. The vast Japanese garden on the temple grounds includes the&nbsp;Tsutenkyo&nbsp;Bridge, a 100-meter-long that connects two halls.
