Aichi Japan has so much to offer from the Nagoya aquarium and the Nagoya castle to Korankei Gorge, to strawberry picking Aichi has something for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s no shortage of things to do in Nagoya, the prefecture\u2019s capital city. A port city on the coast of the Ise Bay, it\u2019s Japan\u2019s fourth most populated city. Living in Nagoya is less expensive than some of the other large Japanese cities, but the city is vibrant in culture with a real mix of old and new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nagoya is a great city for anyone considering living in Aichi. For anyone in Nagoya with children, a visit to the Nagoya Aquarium is guaranteed to be one of the most exciting things to do in Nagoya for your children \u2013 or any curious adults!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Japan has a lot of aquariums, but Nagoya Aquarium is one of the largest. The aquarium has beluga whales, dolphins, orca<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nagoya Aquarium is in the Port of Nagoya. Tickets cost \u00a52030. Nagoya Castle is a particular highlight<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nagoya Castle was constructed in 1612 during the Edo period. The castle is known for a pair of golden shachihoko (a mythical tiger-fish combination) at the top of the tower. Anyone living in Aichi must visit the castle at some point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Atsuta Jingu<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Another one of our recommended things to do in Nagoya is a visit to Atsuta Jingu, one of the most revered Shinto shrines. The shrine homes a sacred sword, the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi sword. It\u2019s a wholesome way to spend time with nature and with good company, not to mention the tasty fruit! If you think you\u2019d like strawberry picking Aichi is the place to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Strawberry picking season in Aichi is usually from December to May. It costs somewhere between \u00a51500 and \u00a52000 for an hour of strawberry picking. The prices tend to fluctuate depending on the month.
