Check out our article on Korankei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Japan has so many\nplaces to see and experience it is hard to find some of the best places to\nvisit. You can get all of the modern wonders in the big cities like Tokyo or\nOsaka. The countrysides of Yamanashi or the waters of Okinawa will allow you\nenjoy the natural beauty of the sea and forests. The obvious choices are\nvisited the most by travelers and they have already built up their reputations.\nSome places aren\u2019t advertised as wel even though they have just as much, or\nmore, beauty as the big-name places. Korankei happens to be one of those\nplaces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vhbloglive.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/1-9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4618\" width=\"768\" height=\"400\" title=\"\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fall Colors<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can find it\nin Chubu near Nagoya. It is a large valley that is near Mt. Iimori, which has\nsome of the best natural settings that you can find in all of Japan. The main\nattraction for the area is the maple leaf trees that surround the gorge and the\nriver area. The Fall colors are said to be the best in Japan. This is all\nthanks to a priest who planted the trees in the 17<sup>th<\/sup> century. It\nleads directly to the nearby temple and adds a special view to the entire area.\nDuring the fall it becomes an ocean of yellow, brown, and red colors. The best\ntime to visit the area and get the best view is around mid-November. The colors\nwill be at their peak and allow for some truly breathtaking photos. More people\nare beginning to hear about the area and it has caused an increase in visitors\nover time. Make sure to plan accordingly to beat the rush.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vhbloglive.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2-9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4621\" width=\"768\" height=\"400\" title=\"\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Taigetsukyo Bridge<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can walk on most of the banks of the river with no worries about the water taking you downstream. It is an easy river that serves more as a wonderful backdrop, until the rainy season anyway. The best place to see the colors of the trees along with the river is the Taigetsukyo Bridge. It is recognized as the symbol of the area and is the best place to get pictures of the foliage. There are other bridges in the area as well so you can travel around to find the one that you like the best. This is the best time of year to truly appreciate what the area has to offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vhbloglive.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/3-9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4624\" width=\"768\" height=\"400\" title=\"\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Sanshu Asuke Yashiki Village<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a small\nvillage in the area that is set-up to mimic the old villages of Japan. Many of\nthe houses retain the old style of construction and even have thatch roofs. The\nvillage is set to be as close to the old ways as possible. The village is often\nused for festivals and old traditional events. They hold workshops for visitors\nto try and create their brooms and other small items. It is a great way to\nexperience the culture and history of Japan while enjoying the clean mountain\nair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/vhbloglive.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/4-5.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4627\" width=\"768\" height=\"400\" title=\"\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Travel<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting to the\narea isn\u2019t easy and it requires some planning. There is no direct train to the\narea and you will be required to transfer using a bus. This doesn\u2019t include any\ntravel that is required to get to Nagoya station. It can take over an hour to\nget to the area and can cost up to 1500 yen just to reach your destination.\nThere are some different ways you can approach the stations, but the bus\ndoesn\u2019t run often and it will be on a long trip going to and from the valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.villagehouse.jp\/en\/?utm_source=vhblog&amp;utm_medium=display&amp;utm_campaign=2020&amp;utm_content=2019-12-16-static-property-768x300-v1-enhp-sitevisitors\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/vhbloglive.wpengine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/768x300-EN.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1862\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.villagehouse.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/768x300-EN.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog.villagehouse.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/768x300-EN-300x117.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The area is very\nbusy during the Fall since many people want to see the beautiful scenery so\ntravel there will be even more troublesome. There are frequent traffic jams and\nthe buses will become crowded throughout the day. Try to plan your day early\nand beat the bigger crowds. It will be more difficult the closer you get to\nfall so try to get your hotel accommodations set-up in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many\nother places to visit in Japan and this is one of the stand-out spots. It is a\ngood reminder that Japan has a plethora of places to enjoy.
