The wide forests of rural Japan become\nwaves of red, yellow, and brown. The parks in the cities become colorful spots\nthat visitors can sit and enjoy while eating Japanese sweets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hiking is a\npopular activity during this time as there isn\u2019t much rain and the weather is\ncool enough for long walks on the mountain trails. It is great to see the wide\nviews of Japanese nature and the way the trees change the view. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Halloween has\nbecome increasingly more popular over the years. Japanese people do not\npractice trick-or-treating, but the younger crowd partakes in Halloween parties.\nEvery year in Shibuya there is a large party that has draws the attention of\nmany foreigners. It has gotten larger every year but has become controversial\nbecause of the noise, disruption, and property damage left in its wake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Grand Sumo\ntournament is a big competition that pits the top sumo wrestlers against each\nother. It is a hugely popular sporting event and is almost impossible to find\ntickets for. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are also many\nfall festivals for people to enjoy during autumn, such as the ramen festival in\nHokkaido. It is hard to buy reasonable tickets and the entire\ncountry is busy with visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fall is one\nof the best times to go to Japan since there aren\u2019t many festivals that are\nknown outside of Japan. It has beautiful scenery and some of the most pleasant\nweather of the year.
